Learn the theatre design and build process for sets, props, costumes, lights, and sound. Get exclusive tours of the Village Theatre’s Tech Studios and workshops. Learn from professional designers, artists, and technical directors, and use your knowledge to create your own designs. The focus for this class changes each semester depending on the interest of the students and the technical elements involved in Village Theatre’s current Mainstage production. Students can enroll in multiple semesters of Project: Design to build their technical design skills over time. Repeat enrollment is encouraged for students interested in applying to our Technical Theatre Program (TTP), internships, and technical positions on KIDSTAGE productions.
