Tap 2

Tap is an essential skill for all musical theatre performers. Develop fundamental technique, rhythm, flexibility, coordination, and style. Tap 2 expands on Tap 1 skills and adds: Cincinnati, Waltz Clog, Double Irish, Bombershay, Reverse Cramp Rolls (Alternating), Riff Walks (3-5), Falap Heel Turn, Double Buffalo, Turning Buffalo, Turning Maxie Ford, Turning Broadway/Ella/Shirley Temple, Pullbacks (knowledge of Mechanics), Double Pullbacks (Knowledge of Mechanics), Single Time Steps (Traditional and Buck), Double Time Steps (Traditional and Buck), Triple Time Steps (Traditional and Buck), Quick Pick Up Skills, Begin/Technique/Form of Turning Steps, Attention to Clarity and Quality of Sound. Proficiency in these skills is required to move into the next level. This is a 14 week class, with breaks for holidays and school breaks.
